Special thanks to everyone who is helping to raise funds for CMAT's Nepal response, including small business owners like Beth and Laurie Anne Clinton, who donated proceeds of this month's Flirt Jewellery sales to CMAT!

CMAT posted this on their Facebook page last evening.
Why not "like" them?

A few years ago while we were in Tucson for the bead shows, we took a workshop with Kate McKinnon and  Andrew Thornton on photographing and blogging.
The two of them took us to different venues in and around town. We had different tasks to accomplish with our photographs each day.
This photo shows how objects of same size can be made to appear smaller.

This is my niece Terry.
She has a son, Andrew.
He is 15 mos. old.
She is having a daughter in September.
The 11th, so they say.
That's been my date since 1954.
I'm more than happy to share with her.
I wonder what her name will be.

This is "scrap" copper.
This is a gold mine.

Goes to show that
 one person's trash
 is another's treasure!
